The reign of ProjectW for distributing illegal stuff (aka warez) has finally ended. They had all kinds of softwares, games, music albums, movies, rips… Anything you want!

It was a huge forum and with thousands of members. It was sad indeed to see such a big site going down.

This is what the admin said:

I’ve decided to close ProjectW down since I don’t have time to run it anymore. It was fun to do 3 years but now the time has come to shut it down. Big thanks to all posters, donators, VIPs and most of all mods and admins. Good luck in the future, GRIZZLY

I’m sure there were some legal problems behind the shutdown otherwise, the owner would have sold the site to some one else. But he didn’t! And just a week ago the shutdown, the forum was upgraded to the newer version of phpBB. But the upgrade was horrible because the whole site got messed up.

This is the saddest news honestly, I have heard in weeks. I wish the owner best of luck for his future life.
